It is expected that the Telangana Board of School Education may announce the exam schedule for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSC) 2026 examinations any time soon. Those who are going to appear for the exam will be able to check the date sheet on the official website bse.telangana.gov.in.
The TS SSC exam pattern uses an 80:20 assessment scheme, with 80 per cent of marks coming from external board examinations and 20 per cent from internal assessment. Each subject is of 100 marks, making the total of all subjects 600 marks. Part B of any examination paper except English and Science must be completed in the last 30 minutes.
Last year’s trends
Last year, the datesheet was released on December 19, and Class 10 exams began on March 21 with the subjects First Language (Group A), First Language Part I (Composite Syllabus), and First Language Part II (Composite Syllabus). The examinations concluded on April 4, 2025 with OSSC Main Language Paper II (Sanskrit and Arabic). The examinations were conducted between 9:30 am to 11 am or 12:30 pm depending on the subject.
pass marks
To pass the examination, candidates must obtain at least 35 percent marks in aggregate and in each subject. To achieve an A grade, candidates must score 750 points or more. Those scoring between 600 to 749 are awarded a grade B, while students scoring between 500 to 599 get a grade C. Scoring between 350 and 499 gives a grade D. PWD category candidates need to score at least 25 percent marks to pass.
what happened last year
The Board of School Education, Telangana announced the TS Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSC) exam result for 2025 on April 30 this year. There was a marginal increase in Telangana SSC 2025 results compared to last year. A total of 92.78 percent students passed the Class 10 exam, up from 91.31 percent in 2024.
