Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Delhi Police and the Central Armed Police Forces to issue a sub-request notification. The notification on June 16, 2025, was delayed due to “administrative reasons”.
According to the examination calendar, the registration for SSC SI Delhi Police and CAPFS was scheduled to end on July 7, 2025 and computer-based tests were to be held from 1 to 6 September. The notification will include all the important dates related to the recruitment drive as well as vacancy details.
“Candidates are informed that the information of sub-inspector in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces examinations, 2025, which was to be temporarily published on 16.06.2025, has been postponed due to administrative reasons. The date of publication is being finalized in consultation with the user department.
Interested candidates should regularly examine the official website on ssc.gov.in for updates. The notification will provide details about PDF recruitment process, exam date, eligibility, application stages, application fee, reservation, and more.

step 2: On the homepage, click on the notice that reads – ‘Important notice – Delhi Police and CAPF Exam Sub Inspector, 2025’

It is worth noting that the Commission conducts recruitment examination for thousands of posts of sub-inspector in Delhi Police and Central Paramilitary Forces every year. Lakhs of youth from all over the country apply for this recruitment examination. Last year, notification was issued for a total of 4,187 posts for SSC CPO-Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment. CAPF had 4,001 vacancies and Delhi Police had 186 SI vacancies.
