Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited one of the most ambitious Bollywood projects of 2026 Ramayana: Part 1Apart from the well-known director, the biggest attraction of this film is the ensemble cast that no one has seen before – Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Rocking Star Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. When the film was first announced, it was reported that RK had given up alcohol and non-vegetarian food to portray the role of Lord Ram on the silver screen. Well, in his latest interview, Ranbir’s Lakshman Ravi confirmed that the entire team has made many sacrifices.
Ravi Dubey and his wife Sargun Mehta recently joined Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast. ranveer showDuring this, Ravi expressed his gratitude to Nitish Tiwari, Namit Malhotra and Mukesh Chhabra for making him a part of it. Ramayana: Part 1Talking about how the project has deeply affected the entire team, Ravi shared, “That role changed me. To do justice to it I had to change myself because the audience can easily tell when you are faking it. I changed my routine completely. In fact, so did all of us, including Ranbir Kapoor. He has sacrificed a lot for this film. It feels like a yagya. We change our behavior, reaction and even Did everything in his power to stay true to these characters in a manner of speaking.”
To the delight of fans, Ravi also spoke about his experience of working with Ranbir and Yash and revealed how the superstars are on the sets. Talking about RK, Ravi said, “Ranbir has an incredible aura. He is calm, graceful and deeply committed. Ranbir has a very gentle energy – and I think that’s something that everyone who meets him will feel.” Talking about Yash, Ravi shared, “He is an extremely friendly person – very warm and genuine. They are both very different, yet equally kind.”
