Heavy rain is also affecting rail traffic. Rail traffic will be affected due to water logging between Kerala-Pali Marwar Yard and Bilada-Pipad Road of Jodhpur division.
Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, informed that the rain has blocked the path of many trains. Due to the unavailability of link racks, many rail services of North Western Railway have been canceled and the route of many trains has also been changed.

The passengers of the trains which have been cancelled or partially cancelled are being refunded their ticket money. The railway administration has provided this facility at the counter.
Appeal to passengers
Passengers are also being appealed to get necessary information from all the social media handles of the railways before travelling. That is, before leaving home for the journey, get updates about the train. Check if their train has been cancelled so that they can avoid inconvenience. The team of engineers is inspecting the sites from the safety point of view. As soon as the water level decreases, trains will start running again as before.

The route of these trains was changed
Train number 19224, Jammu Tawi-Gandhinagar Capital Railway service left Jammu Tawi on 04.08.24. This train will run via the diverted route Luni-Samdadi-Bhildi-Patan-Ahmedabad.
Train No. 16312, Kochuveli-Sriganganagar rail service will leave from Kochuveli on 04.08.24 and will run via the diverted route Marwar Jn-Ajmer-Phulera-Merta Road.
