New Delhi, PM Narendra Modi reached Poland on Wednesday, the first day of his two-day foreign visit. After spending a day in Poland, the Prime Minister will directly reach war-torn Ukraine. On one hand, the PM is preparing to go to Ukraine. On the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has left for America today. America’s statement has also come out on this entire incident. The US State Department termed PM Modi’s Ukraine visit as important. About six weeks ago, the Prime Minister had visited Russia, where he met President Vladimir Putin in the capital Moscow.

No PM of India has visited Ukraine till now. PM Modi has made it clear that India does not work under anyone’s influence or pressure. During the PM’s visit to Russia, the US ambassador to India had shown a harsh attitude. Now US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma has said that America understands India’s “long-term relationship” with Russia.
