Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena was seen dancing with the tribal community of OT during his visit to Karnataka on Friday.
Delhi LG was visiting the Thodar tribal village in Ooty that day.
In the video, Delhi LG VK Saxena is seen with a dancing footsteps, including clapping and walking in a circle. He is seen smiling while dancing with the tribal community.
Delhi LG inaugurates Bamboo Garden in Landfil
Earlier this month, Delhi LG VK Saxena and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a bamboo plantation drive at Bhalwa Landfil in the national capital.
This month a green initiative was initiated in a 62 -meter high landfill, with a vision to convert the re -obtained land into a green area.
With 200 bamboo plants planted so far, authorities have planned to add 54,000 more in the coming months. Bamboo was chosen for its eco-friendly properties, which produces 30 percent more oxygen than other plants and requires minimal water. This makes a permanent option to increase air quality and curb pollution in the region.
Bamboo plantations can play an important role in the management of landfills by stabilizing the soil, absorbing excess moisture and reducing erosion, which helps prevent landslides. Its deep root system can also filter contaminants from the leachet, reducing groundwater pollution.
VK Saxena celebrates the day of the state
On 22 March, Delhi LG VK Saxena expressed happiness to celebrate the days of the state of Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
“There is a pleasure to celebrate the days of Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram in the Raj Nawad along with the residents of these states. [sic]”He wrote on X.
Delhi LG also appreciated the cultural performance during the program.
“The Envite Fedgad Messezing Cultural Performants- Chai Log Meet and SWAT LOCE GATE in Mitili Mitili (Bihar), Nyasi, Mishmi, Monpa and Vanko Tribal Dance (Arco Dehfor Pressfiffill Pressfiffs Group) [sic]”He wrote.
