This Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor or Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have provoked their designs by the men of the Hindi film industry who originally fuses the tradition with a modern, quiet edge. The designer has redefined how men make a strong emphasis on festive and wedding dressing, light silhouette, decomposed sherwanis, tonal layering and comfort.
In this special chat with HT lifestyle, he breaks festive and wedding fashion hack for men, common styling mistakes, and why smart tailoring will always get out of heavy embroidery.
Interview parts with Kunal Rawal:
Q. Your designs mix traditions with a cool, modern vibe. What is a festive piece of every man this year?
A dickystated sherwani. It is light, it is naturally indulged, and it is functional. You can wear sleeveless jackets as a bundy, or internal gambling in itself. A costume, many life, it is a smart dressing. One more should be our molded collar kurta shirt; The length of the middle-thigh, versatile, and equally fast under a bandgala or on its own. Festive dressing is not about “more”, it is about smart layering and versatility.
Q. For those who are not eager for heavy sherwanas, one advice will you give some options to prepare them and festivals?
There is nothing to do with excitement that Sherwani is so heavy. We create effects with feather-light threadwork, sharp color-fierce and lean silhouette. For me, fit everything, a completely chopped bandagla in a light fabric will always look faster than something overloaded with embroidery. We combine relaxing with sweat -avoiding linings, stretch fits, and decomplated jackets that you can restale the next day. It seems that it is formal that is formal, but it is easy to live in it.

Q. For someone who does not like color loudly, what is still an easy way to stand out in a wedding or Diwali party?
The color is about all balance. For the day, I like pleased pastels like Mint, Seep, Ivory, SEZs. They are fresh, but still celebrations. At night, I bend towards moody tone like petrol, mulberry, charcoal, deep olives. They are alive when combined with texture and heritage finish. For example, we oxidize our zardozi for 72 hours before use, so it carries a depth and timeless character. This is how muted tones only create the same effect in the form of bright colors.

Q. What are your go-to tricks while styling a simple dress, so that it can look more festive and fashionable?
Keep an element as a hero. A large pair of shoes, an unexpected cut, or an interesting ratio immediately elevates the look. I also recommend investing in isolation instead of looking full effigy. It gives you freedom to restore each piece and keeps the organization authentic for you. Festive wear should feel like an extension of your personality, not a dress.
Q. What are the most common mistakes men during festive dressing and how can they avoid them?
The biggest mistake? Don’t look like itself. Many men wear effigies or make someone else completely decide. You can see it, they are uncomfortable, and the outfit wears them. Another mistake is too much over-style like a brochure, too much expansion. Clarity is lost. My advice? Start with you Every option should feel personal, not you have been put in a dress.

Q. Everyone owns a white shirt. What are the three different ways to style it for festive events like turmeric, cocktail night and Diwali?
- Turmeric: Keep it easy. Throw it under a bond, breath and fun.
- Male: Experiment with pair or silhouette with draped bottoms. It is a place to play.
- Cocktail night: Go fast. A bandagla or layer of slim sherwani with chinos. Keep the length of the jacket mid-thigh, the ratio is important.
- Diwali: sincerely? Leave the plain white shirt. Go for a kurta that feels special, something with a personal touch.
In the world of Kunal Rawal, the versatility of festive wearing is about, comfort and personality. So if you separate a decontcted sherwani, muted tone, or sharp, the key is to look yourself, just faster.
