Actor Kevin Costner fired back in a case filed by a stunt artist on his film Kshitij: An American saga – chapter 2, alleging that he was forced to perform a “violent” without a proper warning, consent, or protocol without a “violent” without rape.

In an announcement filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, Costner called the allegations made by the stunt artist, which goes under the name Dewin Lebela, “absolutely wrong” and “depth”.
The actor claimed that the allegations were “designed” to damage “reputation”.
Costner said in a court announcement, “I can only assume that this sensational language was used to use this sensational language and on an ongoing basis to achieve a large -scale and unjust payday to me and horizon films,” Costner said in a court announcement.
The 70 -year -old said, “To read and address the allegations that I know that the words ‘rape’ and ‘assault’ have been a complete nightmare.”
In May, Dewin Labella sued Costner for sexual harassment and to create an environment. He alleged that the costner improved a scene, in which an actor instigated him and raised his skirt aggressively.
In response to the same, Costner claimed that it was not a “scene of rape”, and when rape was contained, there was no nudity or fake sex.
He said, “It was an artistic shot, which means what the off-screen was going to be, and was not deliberately a ‘fake rape’ because Devin has now described it,” he claimed.
Now, Costner and his company seeks to exclude the suit under California’s Anti-SLAPP law, designed to protect free speech on matters of public anxiety.

In May this year, Dewin Labella filed a case in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Its name is Costner-Director, Star and Co-writer of the horizon series of Western countries-and its production companies as defendants.
According to The Guardian, Dewin Lebella, stunt double for lead actor Ella Hunt, alleged that on 2 May 2023, Costner improved a scene, raping his character Juliet, a scripted scene a different character Raps Juliet, a day after Hunt and Labella. When Hunt refused to do the scene, Lebella was reportedly called to set without knowledge.
A former gymnast, 34 -year -old Labella, has been consistently worked as a Hollywood stunt artist since 2020, including credits including Barbie and Yeljackets.
