Actor Achut Potter, who is known for illustrating a professor at Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster 3 Idiots, died on August 18 after suffering from heart -related complications. He was 91 years old at the time of his passing. After Aamir Khan, Boman Irani also paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor.
Boman Irani expresses grief over the death of Achaut Potter
On Tuesday, Boman Irani took to Instagram and still shared one of Achaut Potters from 3 Idiots, wrote, “With deep respect, remembering Achaut Potter ji. A true gentleman and a memorable artist. My heartfelt condolences.”

Earlier, Aamir Khan also expressed his grief over the death of an experienced actor through a emotional note shared by his production house. He read, “I am very sad to hear about Achutiji’s passing. He was a wonderful actor, a wonderful person, and a great ally. We will remember you, Achutji. My heartfelt condolences to my family.”
Director of Critical Care Department at Jupiter Hospital, Dr. Confirming the news to PTI, Ravindra Gawat said, “He was admitted to the hospital in an important state with breathing and heart issues, kept in the ICU at around 4 pm. He died at 10:30 pm due to heart related issues. He had high blood pressure and weak cardiovascular health.”
