Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak organised the passing out ceremony for the 5th batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) as well as Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management (EPGDSM) on Sunday, September 8.
The event was attended by several guests including Indian wrestler, actor and motivational speaker Sangram Singh, Jamshedpur Football Club CEO and Head of Centre of Sports Excellence at Tata Steel Mukul Chaudhari and TCI Group President and Chief Business Officer Rajkiran Kanagla.
Addressing the gathering, Sangram Singh spoke about his journey in sports and urged the participants to stay determined and focused towards their goal.
Mukul Choudhary highlighted the growing importance of professional management in both sports and corporate sectors. He stressed the need for efficient managers in the present complex environment.
Similarly, Rajkiran Kanagala shared important insights about leadership in today’s dynamic business landscape and encouraged the graduates to lead with vision and adaptability.

It is noteworthy that the PGPX programme is designed for experienced professionals, providing training on leadership and management education using case-study-driven pedagogy.
The programme is well-suited to developing professionals who can succeed in today’s complex and evolving business landscape, the release said.
IIM Rohtak Director Dheeraj Sharma congratulated all the graduates and reiterated the Institute’s commitment to developing future leaders in business and sports by focusing on academic excellence and practical experience.

Meanwhile, the graduating batch included 64 participants of the EPGPX programme, representing organisations such as the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Indian Oil Corporation, Tata Motors, HSBC, Infosys, Capgemini, Boeing and Wipro.
Similarly, EPGDSM graduates included professionals from organisations such as Tata Steel, Indian Railways, Goa Sports Authority and SG Cricket.
Outstanding achievers from the EPGDSM batch include Shreya Saxena, who represented India at the 16th USIC World Railway Championship and secured individual bronze medal, and Raghav Jamwal, who secured third position at the Grappling Asian Championship Astana 2023, the release informed.
