Elio, Disney-Pixers’ animated science fiction adventure, was released in theaters in June this year. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaited to see at home. Here’s a look that when Elio will be available on America and worldwide streaming platforms.

According to People Magazine, the latest animation offered from Disney-Pixers has been provided digitally on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
But fans who want to stream it in 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD will have to wait a while. For this, the release date is September 9, 2025.

Elio: What do you expect?
The story of the animated film revolves around the life of an 11-year-old scientist, named Elio Solis (Yonus Kibreb). Elio goes through various events in her life, while struggling to create her mark and trying to fit with the rest of her classmates.
Later, he manages to find the idea behind taking into space somehow and becomes a close friend with aliens, including glorden (Remi Edgarli). However, adventure work in his life takes a heavy turn when aliens accidentally begin to identify them as the Earth’s official ambassador.
Apart from Kibreab and Edgerly, the Voice Cast for the film also includes Zo Saladana, Brad Gare, Brandon Moon and Jamila Jamil.
Saldana has voiced the character of Elio’s aunt Olga Solis in the film. Sharing his personal work experience, he said to the people in a clip, “One of the choices I held in my career in the last year is a common topic: it is part of stories that dance around the subject of grief”.
She said that since she loses a parents at the age of nine, she can “definitely sympathize with Elio, as much as I can sympathize with Olga.”
The actress said that there were some moments in her life when she felt that she could not “fit into the bus, no matter what I did.”
