Speaking at CinemaCon 2024 in Las Vegas recently, Aziz said, “I don’t know, after 15 days of shooting with me I said, ‘Hey, just relax in my dressing room for 15 minutes.’ And he slipped on a rug, he said, ‘Ah, my knee.’
Aziz talks about Keanu’s behavior after his injury
Aziz said that Keanu was “such a trooper” after the injury. He said that despite the injury, Keanu “still filmed everything except a few scenes where he needed to do salsa dancing that we needed to take”. “He was like, ‘I’ll do it!’ We say, ‘Keanu, calm down, we’ll go salsa dancing when your knees heal,'” Aziz said.

Good Fortune is Aziz’s second attempt at direction. He previously worked on the comedy-drama Being Mortal for Searchlight. However, according to Variety, work was delayed indefinitely to 2022 due to allegations of actor Bill Murray’s abusive behavior on set.
