Keeping all these things of customs in mind, the smugglers prepared their new plan and started smuggling gold.

He said that how much help the smugglers got with the help of their new plan is still a matter of investigation, but, during the investigation of a case, the customs officials definitely came to know about this new plan of the smugglers. In fact, on June 12, the customs arrested a gold smuggler named Atiq ur Rehman from Terminal 3 of IGI Airport. During the search, 624 grams of gold worth about Rs 29,76,802 was recovered from his possession.
During the search, a Samsung foldable mobile was also recovered from his possession, which was sent to forensics for investigation by the customs. During the investigation of the mobile, customs recovered soft copies of some Aadhar cards. In which other information including the photo was the same, but the names were different. Abdul Zameer was registered on one Aadhar card and Ismail Sharif was registered on the other. After which, when the whole matter was known from Atiq, the customs officers also started sweating.
