New Delhi. Telecom company Vodafone Idea on Thursday announced a partnership with global streaming platform Netflix in an initiative to enhance entertainment facilities for its customers. Along with this, Vodafone Idea promised to bring post-paid offerings with Netflix soon.
Vodafone said in a statement that under this partnership, users will be able to enjoy world-class entertainment with the best streaming experience on any device of their choice – mobile, television or tablet.

Facility for pre-paid customers
According to the statement, Vodafone Idea has currently started offering Netflix to its pre-paid customers and will soon bring Netflix bundled postpaid plans as well. The company has introduced two new pre-paid packs which will provide unlimited calls and data along with Netflix basic subscription. In this, users will have the facility to watch Netflix on TV along with mobile.
How much is the pack?
The first pack comes with 1.5 GB data per day, 100 SMS/day, unlimited phone calls and Netflix Basic (TV or mobile) for Rs 998 with a validity of 70 days. The second pack offers 2.5 GB data and 100 SMS per day with unlimited calls and Netflix Basic (TV or mobile) for Rs 1,399 with a validity of 84 days. According to the statement, customers in Mumbai and Gujarat can choose the offer with 70 days validity for Rs 1,099.
