Ola launched the S1X model in February this year at a starting price of Rs 79,999. The price of its most advanced version was kept at Rs 1,09,999. Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, Ola Electric, has said that the prices of this entry-level scooter have been reduced with immediate effect and their supplies will also start from next week.

Khandelwal said, with the average price of an electric scooter being Rs 1 lakh, the response from consumers has been that when its price becomes at par with petrol scooters, they will think about it. Instead, he thinks more about the price he has to pay today itself.
