The year 2024 is no less than a roller-coaster ride for S Shankar. Apart from Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer, the filmmaker’s personal life is also flourishing. Rajinikanth attends Aishwarya Shankar’s wedding
Pictures of this intimate event were shared on many handles. Aishwarya and Tarun’s wedding pictures capture beautiful moments where guests are seen congratulating the newly married couple. Rajinikanth, Kamal and Surya posed for photographs with the bride and groom.
While Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin was seen greeting Shankar, Vikram looked happy sitting among the guests. Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan and Mani Ratnam also attended the ceremony on 15 April. Shankar and his wife Ishwari looked very happy on the occasion. Aishwarya’s younger sister Aditi Shankar broke the news when she shared some pictures with her sister. She wrote, “What a beautiful and memorable day with my two favorite people in the world (two heart emojis) @aishushankar8 @arjith_shankar!! (bull’s eye emoji).”
About Aishwarya Shankar
Aishwarya is Shankar’s eldest daughter and is also a doctor by profession. This is her second marriage after her divorce from cricketer Damodaran Rohit. Damodaran was charged under the POCSO Act after his name cropped up in a sexual assault case filed by a 16-year-old girl, News 18 reported. Damodaran was the captain of the Pondicherry cricket team when he refused to take action against his team’s coach. A 16-year-old girl had accused the coach of sexual harassment.
Shankar has worked with Kamal in Indian and Indian 2. She has also worked with Rajinikanth in Shivaji: The Boss, Anthraean and Anthraean 2. The filmmaker has also completed shooting for Game Changer with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
