Nutritionist Deepsikha Jain revealed 4 superfoods that can reduce subsequent symptoms of menopause, increase bone health, and support overall well -being for your mother.

Nutritionist Deepsikha Jain, MSc Global Public Health Nutrition (UK) and National Diabetes Educator, throw light on four powerhouse superfoods, every daughter should encourage her to add her mother to her diet. Packed with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, these foods not only reduce the symptoms of menopause, but also help manage complications such as osteoporosis, which ensure strong bones and better overall health in a long time.

According to Deepsikha, flaxseeds contain phytostrogen which helps in hormonal balance. This is good for women undergoing menopause as it helps manage symptoms. He said, “They are great for your mother because flaxseeds contain phytostrogen that will actually help balance the hormones – your mother will help reduce the symptoms of menopause.”
Ragi
Ragi is an excellent source of calcium that helps to prevent bone damage and reduce the risk of subsequent osteoporosis after menopause. Deepasikha says that inclusion of ragi in your mother’s diet will help better couples and strong bones.

Dark chocolate is not only rich in antioxidants that helps in brain circulation, but also provides mood-boosting effects from natural chemicals that, according to an article of home care, releases endorphins in the blood flow.
