New Delhi. The government has issued new instructions to telecom service providers to stop spam calls and messages on mobile phones. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has asked telecom service provider companies to make their mobile apps and web portals more user-friendly so that complaints of unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) can be lodged easily.
As per the instructions given by TRAI, now telecom operators will have to provide the option of registering UCC complaint in their mobile application and website.
