Yamaha is mainly selling team scooters in India – Fascino 125, RazrR and Arox 155 scooters, in which the Fascino and RazR scooters come with hybrid engines. The company is providing engines with Blue Core Hybrid technology in these 125cc scooters.

What is Blue Core Hybrid Engine?
Smart motor generator has been used for mild hybrid technology in Yamaha Fascino and Razor. The engine of the scooter works as a smart generator which keeps charging a small lithium ion battery installed in the scooter. Whenever the speed of the scooter is reduced, this generator gets activated and converts the kinetic energy into electricity and stores it in the battery. At the same time, when the speed of the scooter is increased again, this generator works like an electric motor and gives more power to the rear wheel of the scooter so that the scooter can get better pickup. This system helps the scooter to provide more power even on uphill roads. At the same time, with this system the scooter gets 0.5 Nm more torque.

You get more mileage too
The Blue Core hybrid engine of Yamaha Fascino and Razor 125 gives 16 percent more mileage. The mileage of both these scooters of Yamaha has been claimed at 66 kilometers per liter. Talking about the power figure, both the scooters are equipped with mild hybrid 125cc fuel injected engine. This engine generates power of 8.04 bhp and torque of 10.3 Nm.

The Delhi ex-showroom price of Yamaha Fascino 125 ranges between Rs 79,600 to Rs 93,630, while the price of Razr 125 starts at Rs 84,730 and goes up to Rs 92,630. The company also offers a variety of accessories with both scooters.
