The bodies of a woman and her three children were found riddled with bullets on the morning of Tuesday, November 5, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The police tried to trace the husband and declared him missing.
But hours later, the gunshot injured body of the ‘suspicious’ missing husband was found at a construction site. It is suspected that the husband committed suicide after killing his 45-year-old wife and children aged 25, 17 and 15.

How were the bodies found:
The family lived in a huge building with other tenants. The family did not come out of their flat for a long time on Tuesday morning. When the maid entered the house, bullet-riddled bodies were found. The family’s tenants came to know about the incident and informed the police.
However, Rajendra was nowhere to be found. The police were called and suspected that the husband had killed the family and fled. A few hours later, he too was found dead; His body was found in a building under construction.
It is suspected that Rajendra Gupta murdered his family and then shot himself.
Family dispute is said to be the reason behind the murder. It is said that Rajendra Gupta was accused of murdering his father, brother and sister-in-law.
“The condition of the bodies shows that they were sleeping when they were shot dead. Prima facie it appears that a pistol has been used. “We have found bullet shells,” senior police officer Gaurav Banswal was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Police said they are trying to find out the motive behind the murders and the investigation is ongoing. Forensic experts and senior police officers have reached the spot.
