The latest period of Netflix, the House of Guinness, which is created by Piki Blinders Mastermind Steven Knight, has asked the fans a big question: what will be the second season? The eight-episode, a globally premiered on 25 September, follows the turbulent life of four adult children of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the founder of Guinness Brevie, Arthur Guinness. While the season ended at a dramatic cliffhzer, Netflix has officially not officially renewed the show for season two. However, Knight has several times indicated that there is more story to tell. In an interview with screennarent earlier this month, he said, “In an ideal world, I want to take it in all ways in the 20th century … there are enough materials to continue us in all ways.”
At the September 1 screening in Dublin, Knight moved even further. According to the Irish Mirror, he told the audience, “Yes, of course. We are going to do two, and three, and four. Om, of course, we are going to do all this in the 1960s.”

Will the cast for season 2 return?
Steven Knight, the creator of the series, is keen to continue the House of Guinness with a second season, but will the lead artists also return? Anthony Boyle, who portrays Arthur Guinness, shared with the mirror in September 2025 that he would be thrilled to return for another season.
“I think the script was amazing and I really enjoyed artists and directors,” Boyle said. He said, “I loved it, I like the final product. This is a show on which I am really proud, and if they wanted to go again I will be very happy,” he said.
For now, fans will have to wait for the official word of Netflix. But with Knight’s ambitious vision and desire to return, obstacles seem stronger that the story of the Guinness family is over.
