Rishikesh: This was the last day of the Lamborghini GIRO Customer Drive and Experience event. This program started from 26th September and 29th September was its last day. Meanwhile, the tourists participating in this drive and experience program of Lamborghini had reached Rishikesh on the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27, 2024. There, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj warmly welcomed the group of tourists. The group came with a convoy of 85 Lamborghini cars. All these tourists were participating in the Lamborghini GIRO Customer Drive and Experience program. The convoy comprised of lead cars and backup vehicles traveling from Delhi to Rishikesh, Mussoorie and Haridwar.

29th September was the day for Lamborghini owners to enjoy the beautiful natural scenes of Mussoorie. Expressing happiness while welcoming the tourists, Minister Maharaj had described it as a golden opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage, delicious cuisine and excellent handicrafts of Uttarakhand. The Lamborghini GIRO program aims to organize unique experiences for car owners, so that they can come from different parts of India and enjoy the beauty of the country. The main goal of this program is to show the beauty of tourist places like Rishikesh, Mussoorie and Haridwar.
Such programs promote tourism of the state and introduce tourists to the beauty and cultural heritage of the state. This program highlights the natural beauty of Uttarakhand as well as its local specialties, which attract tourists from India and abroad.
Such programs will also inspire those youth to visit Mussoorie who go out for a tour in groups of some special bikes or four-wheelers. This will boost tourism in the state and increase employment there.
