Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are all set to tie the knot. The couple has announced July 12 as their wedding date. Ahead of the wedding, the couple hosted two grand pre-wedding ceremonies – one in Jamnagar which was a star-studded affair and the other one in which the couple travelled on a cruise in Europe with their family members and other celebrities. A day before, the Ambani family organised a mass wedding ceremony in Mumbai where they blessed underprivileged couples and got them married. On Wednesday, the Ambani family reached the Mameru venue for the ceremony.
What is Mameru?
According to Gujarati traditions, a ritual is performed before the wedding in which the bride’s maternal uncle gives her wedding gifts. Mameru in Gujarati means maternal uncle. Mameru is the ritual in which the bride receives gifts from her maternal uncle.

What did the Ambani family wear at the Mameru ceremony?
The Mameru ceremony was equally grand for the Ambani family. The bride-to-be Radhika Merchant wore a stunning orange and pink lehenga with golden embellishments for the Mameru ceremony on Wednesday afternoon. The entire Ambani family was present to bless the couple.
Isha Ambani – daughter of Mukesh Ambani and sister of groom Anant Ambani posed for pictures with her husband Anand Piramal and kids. Isha looked gorgeous in an orange silk ruffled saree with golden zari work and intricate golden thread work. The family posed for pictures and looked absolutely gorgeous in ethnic attire.

Ambani family’s eldest daughter-in-law Shloka Ambani wore a pink and orange salwar suit with heavy golden embellishments. Wearing a diamond necklace and diamond drop earrings, Shloka made her look even more beautiful.
Ananth and Radhika’s love story is one made for movies. The couple are childhood friends who later fell in love. One of Radhika’s gowns for the cruise ride before their wedding had a love letter written by Ananth. Ananth and Radhika officially announced their relationship with a picture on Instagram in 2018. The couple is set to tie the knot on July 12 this year.
