‘I eat lean meat, pulses, egg whites, grilled chicken’
When Shahrukh was asked ‘What do you eat to stay fit’, Shahrukh had said, “Nothing! But if I have to be fit for a particular role, I give up white rice, white bread, sugar and alcohol.” Apart from this, I make sure that I eat less. I eat low-fat meat, pulses, egg whites and grilled chicken.”
Shahrukh also said that he usually avoids food cooked on film sets during shooting and eats tandoori chicken or fish and sometimes sprouts or vegetables for lunch. When asked what he usually eats for dinner, Shahrukh said, ‘I usually have tandoori chicken with tandoori roti and sometimes mutton too.’
Shahrukh’s comfort food?
When the actor was asked about his comfort food, he said, “Tandoori chicken. I am addicted to it and I can eat it 365 days a year. Some time ago, I ate a kind of caviar on an Air India flight It was. But it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten it anywhere again.”
When Shah Rukh was asked if he liked Indian sweets, he said that he ‘does not like junk food or sweets, but sometimes eats ice cream or chocolate.’ He also revealed that his wife, interior designer and filmmaker Gauri Khan, makes ‘good ice cream with digestive biscuits’ for him as he does not eat fruits.
