In a 2021 interview with Vogue India, Sushmita’s trainer, Nupur Shikhare, revealed the actor’s workout routine, her fitness mantra and more.

Nupur said that Sushmita ensures four sessions of two hours each in a week at her home gym. “She is currently working on bodyweight training and flexibility,” he said. Mobility is another key area you’ll find him focusing on – core strength, head to toe mobility and shoulder rotation are a key feature of his regimen.”
Nupur said Sushmita is extremely familiar with the latest workouts and ‘spends hours meticulously researching new techniques, and often breaks them down and tries them herself to find out how they work for her.’ She said she incorporated calisthenics, aerial silk yoga and combination martial arts into her daily routine.
Sushmita believes in a healthy, balanced diet
A balanced diet is essential, and you won’t find Sushmita skipping meals, according to Nupur, who revealed what the actor usually eats to stay fit. ‘Vegetables and grilled fish are the mainstay of their daily diet, along with adequate hydration,’ he said. Another add-on she swears by is a mixture of neem and honey.
