First of all, the Jhangore is washed thoroughly in water and soaked for 15–20 minutes. After this, the milk is boiled on low flame and added to it. Jhangora becomes thick while cooking in milk. Then as per taste, sugar, cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits like cashews, almonds, raisins etc. are added. When the kheer becomes well thick and the jhangora is completely cooked, it is served hot.
