The C40 Recharge has also shown a good response and 180 units have been sold within a short period in 2023, with the Kerala and Tamil Nadu markets seeing 100 deliveries each.
Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India, said, “The year 2023 has been an impressive year in terms of growth. The growth of 31 per cent compared to the previous year reflects consumer confidence.”
He said the surge in sales of the XC40 Recharge and the enthusiastic response to the C40 Recharge highlight the company’s strong customer response to electric models, furthering its resolve to launch a new EV model every year.
