And his journey began like any newcomer from outside. “My first year of college, around 2018, I just randomly sent my portfolio to a modeling agency. It was a shot in the dark. I did this just to see how it went while getting my degree. They started sending me for auditions. I would just get a message, ‘Reach Aaram Nagar (audition hub in Mumbai) at four o’clock today, there is an advertisement for anti-dandruff shampoo.’ I would get time from college, go home and then go for the audition. It was a very routine experience,” says the actor, who is rumored to be dating actress Khushi Kapoor.
And yes, then came the call for audition for Zoya Akhtar’s film. “I went to every office to audition. Plus, because I was earning my degree, I didn’t feel like my life depended on auditions. This probably got me the place. I was really enjoying acting, which is why I could involve myself in it,” he concluded.
