Many companies including Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai and Skoda keep bringing performance editions of their cars. Performance edition cars of these companies give customers a better option than expensive cars at a lower price.
Hyundai Motors India, already popular for the i20 N Line and Venue N Line, is set to introduce the Creta N Line, and a sportier N Line version of the Verna is likely to arrive later this year. Meanwhile, Tata Motors is preparing to launch the Altroz Racer Edition with better performance in the coming months. Today we are going to tell you about these three performance centric cars.
Tata Altroz Racer
The Tata Altroz Racer was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo and later at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. A powerful 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine in it generates power output of 120bhp and torque of 170Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It will compete with Hyundai i20 N Line. With various sporty elements like racing stripes on the bonnet, blacked-out headlamps, blacked-out roof, all-black alloy wheels and a special racer badge, the Altroz Racer looks quite attractive. The interiors are equally sporty, with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7.0-inch instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an air purifier and 6 airbags, red contrast stitching and many other performance-centric design elements .
Hyundai Creta N-Line
Hyundai Creta N Line will have special design elements that will differentiate it from the standard Creta. It includes a unique front grille, headlamps with piano black finish surrounds, larger air inlets with faux brushed aluminium, an updated bumper, and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. This will include N-Line badging on the side skirts and rear bumper along with special exhaust tips. The Creta N Line interior will include red accents, exclusive N Line badging and sporty upholstery. It will get a 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine with DCT automatic gearbox.
Hyundai Verna N-Line
Hyundai Verna N Line is also likely to arrive in India, official details regarding its launch timeline and specifications are yet to be confirmed. However, if it comes in the market, it is expected to have 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox options.
