UPPSC PCS & RO 2024 exam will be conducted in multiple shifts in December.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the dates of Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) PCS and Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer exam. According to the official notice released by the commission, the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam will be held on December 7 and December 8, while the UPPSC RO exam 2024 will be held on December 22 and December 23.
The Commission in its official notification said that due to insufficient examination centers meeting the required standards for the number of candidates, the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam will be conducted in two sessions on each day.
As per the provisions, despite every possible effort to meet the required standards regarding the number and capacity of examination centers recommended by the committees for determining the centers in all the districts of the state, it is not possible to have appropriate centers as per the number. Of the candidates. Therefore, the examination to be held on December 7 and 8, 2024, will be conducted in two sessions (First Session – 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and Second Session – 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM) 41 districts of the state,” UPPSC said in the official notification.
UPPSC RO 2024 exam will also be conducted in multiple shifts, as only a maximum of 5 lakh candidates can sit in a shift. If the number of candidates exceeds this then the examination will be conducted in multiple shifts. Since more than 10 lakh candidates have applied for the exam, the exam will be conducted in two shifts on December 22 and in one shift on December 23.
