UP Police Recruitment Exam is now being conducted in all 75 districts

Uttar Pradesh Police Department has exciting news for young job seekers as it conducts the recruitment exam for 60244 UP Police posts through Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. To become a constable in UP Police, candidates will first have to pass the written examination to be held on 17th and 18th February. Admit cards for this exam will be released soon. After the written examination, candidates will also have to pass the physical test. An astonishing 48,17,441 applicants have applied for these posts, which has surprised even the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board with the overwhelming response.
The UP Police Recruitment Exam, originally to be conducted in 69 districts, is now being conducted in all 75 districts due to the large number of applicants. 2377 examination centers have been set up to facilitate the recruitment process.
Thousands of applicants are eagerly waiting for the release of their exam city slip and admit card for UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024. With the exam coming closer, it is anticipated that the exam city slip and admit card will be available on the official website, uppbpb. gov.in, till 10th and 11th February.
Male candidates belonging to General/OBC and SC categories will have to fulfill certain height requirements for physical test, minimum height should be 168 cms. Male candidates of ST category can be 8 cm tall, while the minimum height should be 160 cm. Additionally, male candidates belonging to General, OBC and SC categories should have a chest measurement of 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm when expanded. SC category candidates are eligible for relaxation in chest size with a minimum requirement of 77 cm before expansion and 82 cm after expansion.
The objective of these recruitment efforts is to strengthen the UP Police force with qualified individuals, thereby contributing to enhancing security across Uttar Pradesh.
