Allahabad High Court will conduct recruitment for the post in Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (UP HJS). It has released a total of 83 seats vacancy for the post of District Judges in UP. In the recent update by Allahabad High Court, the date of online application form has been postponed. It was originally scheduled to begin on 15 February and end on 31 March.
Now, with the aim of providing some additional time to the candidates, Allahabad High Court has extended the date for filling the application form till March 15. It will end on April 30. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of Allahabad HC-https://. /www.allahadahighcourt.in/. This is the second extension by the HC for this recruitment drive since January. UP HJS Recruitment was announced in December 2023.

Eligibility
For District Judge Recruitment, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in law i.e. LLB. To become eligible for the post he must also have practiced for seven years as an advocate in a court. The maximum age of the applicant should be less than 45 years, while the minimum age is 35 years. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview. The written examination will be of 800 marks. It will be objective and will include questions from topics related to law, procedure code, evidence, drafting, pleading and other legal aspects. The exam date has not been announced yet by Allahabad High Court. Interview round will be of 200 marks. Students who qualify the written examination will be eligible for the interview round.
