More than 124 light from the Earth, a planet called the K2–18 B sits in the Leo’s constellation, otherwise revolving the uninterrupted star. It is one of the thousands of exoplanets spotted by Kepler, a space telescope that was launched in 2009 and is designed for work. Models predict the atmosphere of such planets that there should be carbon dioxide and methane, and both were found. Dimethyl sulfide also had a temporary identity, a molecule that is created only by life on earth, especially by plankton. This does not mean that it is produced by life on K2–18B. But almost observation is bound to interest.
In such an environment, the type of processes producing methane should also produce ammonia, and it was not seen. But this is a Hycean feature, not bug. Ammonia will dissolve in an underlying ocean in such a way that methane will not occur, so only the methane remains in the atmosphere.
However, none of it is, K2-18 B does not prove to be a true Hycean world. Dr. The depth of the atmosphere is very important in the model of Madhusudhan. If it is just slightly thicker, the resulting greenhouse effect will make liquid oceans impossible. Instead the lower access will include very hot, high pressure, “supercratical” state which is completely uninhabited.
