The Congress provoked its attack on the Center and the LDF government in Kerala during the inauguration of the Vijinjam Cottage near Thiruvananthapuram, in which party MP Shashi Tharoor accused the official spokespersons of not mentioning Oomn Chandy’s name.

Congress MPs, who were present during the inauguration of the Vijinjam port with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, complained about not mentioning Chandy’s name.
“It is a matter of shame that none of the official speakers mentioned his name, and I, who did not get a chance to speak,” he said.
In the post, he attached a Facebook status imposed by Chandy in 2015 when the deal was signed with the Adani ports of Gautam Adani.
“This is a historic moment for Kerala. #GoveRnment within 1,000 days #Vizhinjam will provide all the necessary assistance to the Adani Port to complete the construction of the multilateral sea port of international deep water. The government is also committed to ensure that fishermen and local people have not got any effect from the construction activities of the port,” he was written on the screen.
Meanwhile, the Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, VD Satheson, also expressed his information against the government for not accepting the decisive role played by the previous UDF government under the leadership of Om and Chandy against the government, which in the establishment of the port in the establishment of the port to sign an agreement with the Adani Group and complete the initial work.
