New Delhi [India] October 5 (ANI): Union Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia appreciated the efforts of young innovators who took advantage of space technology for the communication and development of the North Eastern Region, “Space-Atire Frontier-Ati is within the reach of mankind” because he congratulated the winners of Viast: He is located for Viast.

The Innovation Challenge launched by the Global Satellite Communications Leader Viasat Inc., from Bits Pilani, crown Mayank Ghima as a national winner for his project ‘Magnosat’, which proposes the use of superconducting electromagnetic ring in various classes to speed up satellites without the need for traditional fuel. He received a cash prize 4 million.
Second prize of 2.5 lakhs from Nirma University to Bhomi Riyani for their project ‘Plasma Pathway’, Arrutija Jarupullah from IIT Kanpur finished third and won. Their concept focuses on the orbital space settlements serving 1 lakh for ‘steller’, serving as a construction hub.
Expressing gratitude, the winner Mayank Gima said that Manyata strengthened his faith in the transformative ability of space technology. “The occasion has encouraged me to carry forward the limitations of creativity and technical skills. I hope that my project inspires others to find out the new ideas that create a better future for our planet and humanity,” he said.
Viasat India managing director Gautam Sharma said the competition demonstrated the “incredible simplicity and passion” of Indian youth. “The challenge is a will for the role of space technology in resolving India’s vibrant innovation ecosystem and real -world challenges,” he said.
Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, DDG (Satellite Engineering), Department of Telecommunications, cited it a “happy time” for innovators citing strong industry and government support. “The ecosystem is alive, money is available, and the government is ready to return the India-centric solutions that change connectivity,” he said.
The jury of the competition consisted of prominent experts from In-Space, Ministry of Communications, Indian Space Association, Skyrot Aerospace and Viassat. In addition to the top three, five other finalists will receive mentarships through additional sessions in six months to detect career opportunities in STEM and space fields. (AI)
