After Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s chat show Do more, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt shook things in the second episode. Varun and Alia started their acting career together in the 2012 Student of the Year and since then appeared together in 3 films, as well as interviews and other chat shows.
There is an easy, chill chemistry between them that is never old, where they lie a little to each other and reveal harmless secrets from the set. This makes the second episode so more entertaining and enjoyable, such as a little reunion between two friends, who finally found time to clean their schedule and hold with each other. They will not do a film together, but at least we get them on a chat show!
Aaliya and Varun’s reunion
Varun also admitted that he has not met Alia for so long that he does not want to discuss any of his bad habits on the set. Even with this disconnection, the show continued to focus on the show. Nevertheless, the way they addressed each other and talked about themselves. This change is certainly due to the fact that they are now the parents of children daughters. Varun revealed that there has been a deep change about him to see his child’s birth, and Alia says that he was discussing it before the show started. This is a sweet moment, it suggests how this friendship has developed over the years. These two are not the same students who started in the film Karan Johar; They are much more than this.
They are no longer restless, are constantly talking about another type- when Alia speaks, Varun is eagerly all ears. And when Varun recalls a strange family situation during his marriage, Alia is the one who patss him back. “I am crying, this is a cheerful story,” she says. His uncontrolled laughter is still the same. The best part of the episode is when both Alia and Varun discuss their children, and their everyday decisions revolve around. Alia asks the two hosts if the crime of going to work and leaving her children at home sometimes goes away, and they say it never does.
What doesn’t work
It is said that the second episode lacks rhythm, and introductory food-gazing table sections need to be really needed to go away. Alia does not need to eat a French fry to prove that she can eat one. This is strange. The hosts did not really find to talk here, as Varun and Alia were those who carried forward the conversation, often from one event to another. There were many examples when Alia and Varun asked questions, and Twinkle took a backseat to answer them. Alia excluded it from the beginning that she was certainly not drinking onion and egg -filled cold drinks, part of another section where both stars had to correctly estimate the questions of the film Trivia. It would be so much fun that Alia and Varun had asked each other instead.
Below two episodes, two too much doesn’t really feel too much. The show has no surcharge with questions and back and forth classes, while Kajol and Twinkle are often inactive listeners, and in some cases, are seen laughing on jokes instead of taking forward the conversation. It is a cut-end-action framing, where the conversation is broken to fit the format; It has no real, organic flow. I wonder if the irony is much higher than a show in my hope, which has been named two.
