Mumbai University Admission: Candidates who have been selected will have to complete the document verification process in the respective college to reserve their seats.

The University of Mumbai has released the second qualification for registered candidates for various graduate courses. Those who apply for admission and were selected in the first merit list can check the second list by visiting the official website on mu.ac.in or can visit the individual college websites for the same.
Students who meet the criteria for the first merit list can submit their documents for online verification. Selected candidates have to complete the document verification process in their respective colleges to reserve their seats. This process needs to be completed by 4 June.
University of Mumbai Second Merit List 2025: How to check?
step 1- Visit the official website of the university, Mu.ac.in
step 2- On the homepage, check the latest announcements and find ‘Graduate Admission Link’.
step 3- Select the link.
step 4- A new page will open where the first merit list of all colleges associated with Mumbai University will be shown. Candidates will have to check their marks and colleges and other factors thoroughly.
Step 5- After finding the expected college, take the process forward and complete the process of online verification.
University of Mumbai Second Qualification List: Documents required for verification
Copy of pre-enrollment form during university registration
-Class 12th official results
-Passport size photo. Students should have at least 4 photos in hand.
Class 10th marksheet and passing certificate of self-control photocopy.
-Migation Certificate
According to the official notification by the University of Mumbai, the third merit list will be released on June 5 at 7 pm. The official notice stated, “The first year of degree programs and all admissions in their educational activities will be in accordance with the provisions and guidelines of NEP 2020 issued by the UGC from the University of Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra and from time to time.”
The online admission portal launched on 8 May 2025 saw a tremendous response with 2,53,370 students and submitted an impressive 8,11,643 application for various courses. The first merit list was released on 27 May.
