Dausa. The forest department has made preparations to stop the fraud that happens during safari in Ranthambore National Park. The forest department is developing a mobile app with the help of DOIT (Department of Information Technology & Communication). After the app is launched, the tourists’ photo will be visible on the ticket.
Earlier in Ranthambore, such an attempt was also made in the year 2019-20. At that time, the then DFO Mukesh Saini had planned to prepare an app. But at that time things could not work out due to technical flaws. Now once again efforts are being made by the forest department.
Efforts to prevent fraud
All these efforts of the forest department are to curb fraud during jungle safari. Therefore, now there are preparations to put the photos of tourists on the tickets. After the mobile app is developed by DOIT, the officers and employees of the forest department will be able to match the tickets and the photos of the respective tourists with the help of the app.
Admission after photo matching
Forest officials informed that a mobile app is being developed by DOIT. Through this app, the photo and ID of the tourists going on safari per shift can be easily matched. During the investigation by the forest department, tourists will be allowed to enter the park for safari only after their photo and ID are matched.
