The heavy vehicle factory (HVF) in Avadi is recruiting 1850 junior technician posts in various trades such as electricians, machineists, welders, fitters and carpenter. To be eligible, candidates must pass ITI exam in relevant trade. The online application process will start from June 28 and end on July 18, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the official website, oftr.formflix.org.
The recruitment is based on a contract. Initially, candidates will be hired for a year of contract, which can be extended to three years on the basis of performance. Heavy vehicle factory recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates should have NAC/ NTC (National Apprenticeship/ Trade Certificate) in the respective trade (ITI is also valid). For some trades such as operator material handling equipment, rigar and sand and shot blaster, class 10th plus 2 years industrial experience is required.
Age limit:
– General: Maximum 35 years
-BC-NCL: +3 years
– SC/ST: +5 years
– PWBD: +10 years (extra with other categories)
-Eastern-Kakshkaji trainees, ex-servicemen, and experienced candidates get exemption as per the rules.
Heavy vehicle factory recruitment 2025: salary
– Original Salary: Rs 21,000
– Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA): Applied
– Special allowance: 5% of the origin
– Annual growth: 3% of 3% of the original salary per year (only when the previous period is successfully completed)
Additional allowances include:
– Medical, accident insurance, transport, telephone etc.: 3,000/month.
– EPF (Provident Fund) Contribution
– Gratuity after 1 year of service: 15 days salary per year

– Housing or HRA based on availability
