India has denied President Donald Trump’s claim to New Delhi, with a zero tariff business deal to Washington, with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said that business talks were still going on.
Talking to reporters on Thursday a few hours after Trump’s claim, Jaishankar said the talks are complex.
“Business talks are going on between India and America. These are complex talks. Nothing is decided until everything is,” he said.
The Union Minister said that any decision on the possible Indo-US trade deal would be ‘prematurely’ until the actual deal is closed.
He said, “Any business deal must be mutually beneficial; it will have to work for both countries. It will be expected from the business deal. Any decision on it will be prematurely until this happens,” he told reporters.
