Samsung’s new smartphone, Galaxy Z Trifold, is likely to be launched next month. The design and specifications of this phone have been leaked on the Internet.

The TRAI-folded smartphone remains in the headlines through various leaks, although the company has not yet confirmed its official launch date. According to earlier reports, it will be called Samsung Galaxy Z TRIFULD and this foldable device can be officially launched later this month. Samsung is allegedly planning another event in South Korea, where it can unveil its upcoming XR headset and AI-powered smart glasses with a tri-folded phone.

However, according to Tipster Ice Universe, Weibo claimed that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z TRIFold in South Korea on 29 September. With a TRAI-folded smartphone, the company can also introduce its project Mohon XR headset and a new pair AI-powered smart glasses, which are being called Galaxy Glasses, in the same Galaxy Unpacked Launch event.
Samsung’s first tri-folded smartphone is rumored to be limited to China and South Korea and the company is expecting its 3 lakh (or less) units. It may have G-style design with inward folding. It may have a 9.96-inch display if it is completely unfolded. It can offer a 6.54-inch display in a folded position.
Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold: Battery & Processor
The Galaxy Z Trifold is likely to have a silicone-carbon battery. It can have Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip and it can come with a triple camera unit. It can run with one UI 8 skin on Android 16. Earlier it was rumored to be launched as Samsung “Galaxy G Fold”.
Samsung first showed a glimpse of its tri-folded smartphone during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January. Recently, Mobile Chief TM ROH indicated that this device is ready for the official launch before the end of this year. It is expected to compete with smartphones like Huawei Mate Xt Ultimate Design and upcoming Huawei Mate XTS, which is going to be launched in China on 4 September.
