Jhunjhunu. Rajasthan’s railway stations have also become hi-tech now. Cashless transactions are also happening here. Payment for booking tickets at Jhunjhunu railway station is being done using QR code. QR code devices have been installed at the station’s reservation counters. Payments have been started to be accepted using these.
These devices installed by the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) will provide passengers the facility to make digital payments through UPI. Till now, passengers had to provide their UPI ID. The biggest problem in this was faced by the elderly. They do not remember the UPI ID and many times while searching for the UPI ID, the booking time in the system software used to expire. In such a case, the ticket has to be booked afresh.
Make payment like this
At the ticket counter, the passenger will have to tell that he wants to make online payment. After this, the clerk sitting at the counter will enter the option of online payment in the software. The ticket amount and QR code will appear on the device. Payment will have to be made by scanning it. The passenger’s ticket will be printed only after the payment is made.
Separate QR code for each ticket
A separate code will be generated for each ticket on the QR code device. Along with this, the ticket amount and UTS number will also be printed on the device. This will ensure that passengers do not face any problem in making payment.
