Soul. A major accident was averted late on Tuesday night at Gimhe International Airport in South Korea. A passenger aircraft caught fire here before takeoff. Thankfully, all 176 people aboard the aircraft were immediately evacuated.
This Airbus A321 model aircraft of South Korean airline Air Busan had 169 passengers, six crew members and an engineer. The aircraft was preparing to fly for Hong Kong, when the back of the aircraft caught fire. All passengers were taken out with the help of emergency slides.
Three people were moderately injured
According to the National Fire Fire Agency, three people were marginally injured during rescue. The fire brigade team extinguished the fire completely at 11:31 pm. Fire trucks and firefighters controlled the situation within about an hour of the fire.

Around 10:30 pm on Tuesday, a fire broke out in the tail section of the aircraft.
