The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the NEET PG 2025 examination. Earlier, it was to be held on 15 June.
According to the official notice, NEET PG 2025 will be held in the same shift. To accommodate this, more testing centers are being arranged across the country. As a result, the late examination dates will be announced soon by conducting the examination.

Neet-PG single shift dispute
Following a petition, which highlighted the ability of unfairness and discrepancies in the two-shift format, on 30 May, directed for the postgraduate level medical entrance examination to be held in the same shift.
The Supreme Court bench includes Justices Vikram Nath, Sanjay Kumar and NK Anjaria, observed that taking exams in several sessions may have different levels of difficulty, which may lead to arbitrary and perceived unfairness among the candidates. For the examination of such national importance, the apex court emphasized, uniform standards are important.
After arguing the petitioners, the court order came that NEET-PG is traditionally a single-shift, single-day examination, a format that ensures that all candidates are assessed under equal terms.
The bench had also said that it would be open to apply for NBE for the expansion of time. If they find that the arrangement cannot be made by June 15, the scheduled date of examination, PTI said.
NEET PG 2025 Exam Revised Date
15 June was the original date for NEET PG 2025 exam. NBEMS said the date has been postponed to arrange more testing centers and infrastructure. As per the official release, new dates will be announced soon.
