How many died in suicide bombing?
This incident took place in the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque located in Wadi al-Dahab area of Homs province. Hundreds of worshipers were present here during Friday prayers. Everyone was busy in worship when suddenly there was a huge explosion and the walls of the mosque shook. When people ran inside after hearing the sound of the explosion, everyone was shocked to see the sight there.
At least 12 people are reported to have died in this suicide bombing. Apart from this, more than 20 are said to be injured. The condition of some of them is so bad that the death toll may increase.

Describing the condition of the incident site, Al-Jazeera has said that the prayer carpets here are stained with blood, religious books are scattered in the debris and people are running towards the ambulance by wrapping their loved ones in sheets. The corridors of hospitals are echoing with the painful screams of the injured.
In the same report it has been claimed that this attack is actually a well-planned conspiracy to incite communal violence. Alawite, Christian and Sunni Muslim communities live in Homs province. Now after this suicide bombing incident, a situation of terrible tension may arise in the area. The police administration has become alert regarding this. Security forces have surrounded the entire area and investigation is underway. Till now no terrorist organization has taken responsibility for this attack but it is being claimed that the needle of suspicion is going on ISIL (ISIS).
