AAP’s Kuldeep Kumar takes charge as Chandigarh Mayor

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Kuldeep Kumar took over as Mayor of Chandigarh on Wednesday. On February 20, the Supreme Court in its decision in the Chandigarh Mayor election declared Returning Officer Anil Masih the winner of the election by canceling the decision by which BJP candidate Manoj Kumar Sonkar was declared Chandigarh Mayor on January 30.

After assuming the charge of Chandigarh Mayor, Kumar told the media that he is confident that he will get justice in the Supreme Court.

He said, “I was hopeful that I would get justice. For this we went to the Supreme Court and I had full faith that we would get justice there.”
