Bear Season 4 Review
Manufacturer: Christopher Storer
Cast: Jeremy Alan White, Ayo Edbiri, Ibon Moss-Bachrach, Jamie Lee Curtis, Leza Colon-Jayas
Star Rating: ★★★
What if I were food critics, who entered the bear to taste food and saw for myself whether it is worthy of a great review? My radar has a dish, and the way the place works with the rest of the customers. In season 4 of The Beer of FX, the radar is on one side. A sequence is a hurry where we are given a small view of an outsider’s approach. We see that a group of Richie (Ibon Moss-Bachracha) goes extra miles to please; They are worth sending a special. This work of faith is seen by another customer who may or may not be a food critic. It is beautiful, his face says. He likes the warmth and kindness with which these people do their work. In a way, all this is allowed to see him. ,Mild spoils,

But manufacturer Christopher Storler wants you to see more. He wants you to be right with Jeremy Alan White’s Carmi as he is trying to give up the pain and crime of his previous mistakes. She wants to live near Ayo Edebiri’s Sydney as she considering leaving a place for good. He wants to show his audience to the atmosphere of the pressure cooker in which these people work, sweat and work hard every day, ask why they do this and if they are good. If all this matters. If I were just a food critic, I would not have known.

In this season, the clock is really standing. Uncle Jimmy (Oliver Plot) gives these cooks a time of two months, and within this time, if they do not manage to achieve that star (plus a great review), they were going better. The timer is placed in the kitchen to see everyone, stopping ticking like a bomb. For Tina (Lisa Cologne-Zayas, in poignancy and subtle performance), it is just about working TodayMeanwhile, Lionel Boys’ Marcus still has issues with their pastries before service. Somewhere else, there is a child of Chinese (AB Elliot), but it is fully aware of what is at stake in the kitchen. But can they really close it?
Even this bunch is constantly reminded that ‘every second count’, the episodic structure of this season does not make up its mind. A sense of practicality is missing in the bear. The writing indulges in places and gets away from the kitchen, looking for emotional truths that take themselves very seriously. There is so much attention elsewhere, taking circles around the past of Carmi (Molly Gordon’s attachment to Gordon’s attachment- let’s face it- it does not help at all), where Jamie Lee returns to Donna Burjeto of Kurtis. So he gets more time to defeat himself and face a bitter truth.

what works
A lot is happening in this season; A lot of restlessness, force, and mania which has become a certain symptom of this show. The 70-minute episode in the middle is overload and is very flat to bring into any emotional resolution (Star-Kamos also does not help). The star still pushes with a specific narrative simplicity, which concludes in a standout episode, which follows Sydney as he completes his hair with his friend Chantail (with the help of Daniel Deadwilers, his Z, amazing in humorous turn). The payment is surprisingly felt, written excellently.
Unfortunately, the rest of the bears have fallen victim to a different type of compartment. Writing has taken the bullet, instead of focusing on the infection of the restaurant, dialing the spotlight on resolutions and character symptoms and how can food be better in such a short time limit. What remains powerful, there are performances, Ayo Adebiri distributed the standout turn of this season- a beautiful feeling for anyone who had it. Even in his relatively short moments, the actor holds the screen with an intellect that lacks the overall scream of the show.
The Sydney reaches the point, and perhaps it all needs the show. What is important to give priority and what they can bring to the table to make everyone the best dish in the world. The bear is still bold, courageous and alive from the heart, yet it cannot resist the request to take another form once again. As Sydney finds out, some things are just immediately- you know when to say. And when to say, ‘Yes, chef.’ This honesty matters all that matters.
