New Delhi: The bloody conflict between Cambodia and Thailand for three days now seems to be taking diplomatic turn. After a strict warning of US President Donald Trump, the two countries have agreed to talk about the ceasefire. Thailand’s acting Prime Minister Fummatham Vachayachai said that he wanted bilateral talks as soon as possible, while Cambodia also talked about showing the ‘honest intention’ of the conversation.
Trump said in a social media post from Scotland that he spoke directly to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Vachayachai. Trump clearly told both of them that if the struggle does not stop, then America will not make a business agreement with them. Trump claimed, “Both sides want ceasefire and peace.”
