Industrialist Sujay Kapoor’s legacy drama has now reached the Delhi High Court. Actor Karishma Kapoor – The children of the late businessman with Samai and Kian have accused their stepmother Priya Sachdev to make their father’s will and leaving him. Priya Sunajay was the third wife of whom she married in 2017. Earlier, she was married to Karisma to 2003–16. But Sujay was first married to fashion designer Nandita Mahatani in the 90s. However, Nandita is currently clearly absent from the revelation of the play.
Nandita Mahtani, who is the first wife of Sunjay Kapoor?
Born in Delhi in 1976, Nandita is a fashion designer and stylist. He is from a business family. His brother Bharata is a businessman, whose 2010 wedding was attended by Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai to Karan Johar and Hard Goenka. His sister Anu is married to billionaire Sanjay Hinduja. Nandita and Sunjay tied the knot in 1996 and married for four years till their divorce in 2000.
Nandita allegedly dated actor Dino Moriya in the 2000s and briefly moved out with Ranbir Kapoor. In 2017, he got engaged to Linge Jammwal, but the two eventually separated. In 2012, he began his career as a stylist, known as Virat Kohli’s stylist.
Why is Nandita not in the will of listening to the wish of Ajay Kapoor?
In July, a month after Suzay’s death, Priya created a document in March, claiming that she wished. It is being fought by Karishma’s children, who claim that it is a fraud. Karishma is also not a part of the will, there is no such actor. According to sources, Suzay had planned to make provisions only for his children and immediate family in his legacy, not in his former wives. This is why Karishma and Nandita are not in will. Additionally, Nandita and Sujaya had no children, who were part of the inheritance battle.
Apart from two children of Karishma, Rani Kapoor, mother of the late industrialist, has also filed a case against Priya. The court has ordered Priya to disclose all the properties of her late husband. The case will be heard in the next case in October.
