Shivani Jha, a resident of Mujona village in Samastipur district of Bihar, has successfully passed the Joint Defense Services Examination (CDS) conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and has been selected for the post of Lieutenant in the Indian Army. After completing her training, she will work as a lieutenant in the Indian Army.
He started his education in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, where he studied up to 12th standard. She again moved to Gwalior, where she earned a BTech degree in engineering. After completing her engineering, Jha worked as a software engineer in major multinational companies such as Infosys and Czechmax. Despite the attraction of the corporate world, his lifelong dream was to join the Indian Army, a passion that eventually inspired him to his current achievement.
Since childhood, Jha dreamed of wearing uniform. To achieve this dream, he worked hard, continuously improving himself, and strictly prepared for the CDS exam. Such a challenging examination requires mental, physical and emotional flexibility for success, and Shivani Jha excelled in all three aspects. Shivani is the daughter of Sanjeev Kumar Jha and granddaughter of late Ramkiripal Jha. She credits her mother for her achievement, stating that her mother not only supported her through every difficulty, but also saved her from challenges, became her real power. Shivani says, “My mother never taught me.” Her mother’s struggle, trust in her daughter, and unbreakable support laid the foundation of Jha to build her dreams.
